1. Kansas City (13-4) Andy Reid is 91-37 since coming to Kansas City. In the last 5 years the Chiefs have won 12 or more games 4 out of 5 times. In the NFL there is no more consistent team right now than the Kansas City. There's even rumblings that they might go undefeated this year. I'm not one of those people. Obviously, they'll make the playoffs and win this division. There's just not another team that can knock them off. Chargers might be there next year but not this year. The good news for … [Read more...] about AFC West Preview

AFC South Preview
1. Tennessee (11-6) Tennessee was a game away from the Superbowl the season before and won this division last year. Mike Vrabel is 29-19 since taking over. This prediction is on par with their record last year (11-5). The biggest offseason acquisition was Julio Jones. He provides a dangerous 1+2 punch with Brown. Add in Derrick Henry in the backfield and this offense is going to cause some matchup nightmares. They also locked up Tannehill and Henry long term. Last year this was the #2 offense … [Read more...] about AFC South Preview

1. Buffalo Bills (15-2) No surprise here after the season they had last year and the rest of the division. Buffalo gets back almost their entire offense and defense and just locked up their franchise QB for 6 years. A QB that could very well win the MVP this year. Allen threw for 4544 and 37 TDs while also rushing for 421 and another 8. He's gotten better every year and I don't expect this year to be any different. They exchanged Brown for Sanders and added Kumerow at receiver and Breida in the … [Read more...] about AFC East Preview

Futures Fun: NFL
Play it safe 1. Philadelphia to win the NFC East. (-150) I know this is terrible odds for a future but let’s be real. They are far and ahead the best team in the NFC east. While I think Alex Smith is an upgrade for the Skins and Dallas and Giants are better this year, they’re still not on Philly's level. They also have the benefit of having a backup in case of the catastrophic QB injury that can ruin a season. Philly will win this division 2. New England to win Super Bowl. (+550) At 5–1 … [Read more...] about Futures Fun: NFL

New Kickoff Rules
Just when I thought the NFL couldn’t waste more time and ruin more of the game they go and do this. I’m actually baffled so many powerful, I’m assuming intelligent, people allow such dumb ideas to pass. I’m starting to wonder how much they really understand about football. These rules this year are completely idiotic and are essentially the first step of eliminating kickoffs completely. Below are the new rules for 2018 and a video illustration of them.. Following today’s vote … [Read more...] about New Kickoff Rules
NFC South Preview
Atlanta Man I'm still feeling for this team. No one is going to stop talking about the blown lead in the Super Bowl. I'm sure every Falcon fan and player has had enough. It's time to move on. The great news is this team could move on to repeat as the NFC Champions. This offense is stacked. While Kyle Shanahan has moved on to San Francisco, new offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian comes into an ideal situation. The best thing he can do is nothing. This was the top scoring offense in the … [Read more...] about NFC South Preview
